Have been in the most interesting of modes of late.

Somehow, for the first time in my life. I have been taking moments for what they are.
I don't know if something in me matured (finally) or my perspective has simply shifted into uncharted territory, but I have been embracing things, events, and people absolutely free of expectation.

Whereas in areas of social interaction, though largely observed differences well noted, my "love" life is as out of my norm to the point of startling revelation.

It seems once i started loosely applying the four agreements to my life. everything shifted.
"Be Impeccable with your word. Dont take anything personally. Do not make assumptions. Do your best."

I am regrettably horrid at the first and last but i have focused alot on the middle two and I have began to live more relaxed and confindently. I catch myself clearly holding myself back in wake of self esteem issues, and with that lucidity, I can easily dismiss unnessasary weights.

i feel lighter. happier and in more control than I ever have.
this new perception has lent me the ability to view my concepts of Love in new lights.

free of the biased and conditioned restriants ive previously been smothered by.

im a know nothing who knows nothing.

I love everyone.
and I will steal moments with you.
you have been warned.

Hope... I'm sorry but I don't want to be an Emperor - that's not my business - I don't want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if possible, Jew, gentile, black man, white. We all want to help one another, human beings are like that.

We all want to live by each other's happiness, not by each other's misery. We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone and the earth is rich and can provide for everyone.

The way of life can be free and beautiful.

But we have lost the way.

Greed has poisoned men's souls - has barricaded the world with hate; has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed.

We have developed speed but we have shut ourselves in: machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical, our cleverness hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little: More than machinery we need humanity; More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.

The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men, cries out for universal brotherhood for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world, millions of despairing men, women and little children, victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people. To those who can hear me I say "Do not despair".

The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed, the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress: the hate of men will pass and dictators die and the power they took from the people, will return to the people and so long as men die [now] liberty will never perish...

Soldiers - don't give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you and enslave you - who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think and what to feel, who drill you, diet you, treat you as cattle, as cannon fodder.

Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men, machine men, with machine minds and machine hearts. You are not machines. You are not cattle. You are men. You have the love of humanity in your hearts. You don't hate - only the unloved hate. Only the unloved and the unnatural. Soldiers - don't fight for slavery, fight for liberty.

In the seventeenth chapter of Saint Luke it is written " the kingdom of God is within man " - not one man, nor a group of men - but in all men - in you, the people.

You the people have the power, the power to create machines, the power to create happiness. You the people have the power to make life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure. Then in the name of democracy let's use that power - let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world, a decent world that will give men a chance to work, that will give you the future and old age and security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power, but they lie. They do not fulfil their promise, they never will. Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people. Now let us fight to fulfil that promise. Let us fight to free the world, to do away with national barriers, do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men's happiness.

Soldiers - in the name of democracy, let us all unite!

Look up! Look up! The clouds are lifting - the sun is breaking through. We are coming out of the darkness into the light. We are coming into a new world. A kind new world where men will rise above their hate and brutality.

The soul of man has been given wings - and at last he is beginning to fly. He is flying into the rainbow - into the light of hope - into the future, that glorious future that belongs to you, to me and to all of us. Look up. Look up."
- Charlie Chaplin, "The Great Dictator."

seriously i think its nice that someone wanted to make a movie that showed the antithesis of the everybody loves raymond idea of marriage where its inevitable hell and you're never getting out, but when you make the moral
'and then they found jesus, and it was all okay.'
you've failed.

big time.

taken from my friends myspace blog:

I just watched this show on The Science Channel where they talked about how and why we age and they said in about 50 years they will have the power to make everyone live 100-200 years old and in the future possibly even 2000 years old! *Could you imagine saying im 1117 years old* The only way we would die would be freak accidents (Homicide, Car accidents, bombings) And so they went around asking people if they would drink the elixir that cures aging and would allow us to live 2000 years (in a healthy stage) So many people said no it would be boring...ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?!? Right now we are in a race against time we are never going to be able to see everything in the world, and maybe people would have kids at age 500 or 1000 instead of 25 so they could actually have a life.....I can't believe how many people were saying no. I would drink that shit in a second and make everyone around me drink it to!!! I would live 50 years in Cali and then 50 years in Oregon and 50 years in Italy and 50 years in Japan and I'd get remarried every 50 years to keep it fresh! HAHA That would be so awesome. So would you drink it?

But we already are overpopulated....It would be like New York City crowded even in Montana and Iowa....

Science channel freaks me out. I wish I was a scientist now! lol

fight club said it best.

"on a long enough timeline, the survival rate for EVERYONE drops to zero."

there is no way to live forever, srry.

as cool as it would be to live 2000 years if i was young, (if i was old, forget it.) we'd have hella overpopulation problems. this world would not be a great place to live in, and even then, the sun is going to hit its red dwarf phase one of these years.

unless you want to planet hop. because we'll prolly be living on mars and shit, but we need to go beyond the galaxy.

which WOULD be kind of cool.

you could live on a spaceship like on futurama.

but theres one thing to say...with this industrial revolution we have created, there is NO WAY eternal life would be boring for quite awhile.

because come on, the possibilities for technology are literally endless.

but whatevers up there has us die for a reason. this is a pandoras box thats ITS NOT a good idea to open.
